Last Night I went to the Indian Restaurant by my hotel in Portland.
I saw the chef licking his arm in the kitchen, when he looked
around to see if anybody caught him our eyes locked. It was magical.

I've always admired your work on the backgrounds and/or art direction on various animated shows over the past few years or so, and let me just say that I am incredibly excited to see that you have a blog now, where I can see even more of your great artwork.

And your tale of woe in an Indian restaurant is both incredibly digusting and disturbingly hilarious... I hope this all happened BEFORE you ate your meal, and that you promptly left as soon as humanly possible afterwords.

These kind of travel encounters only happen to YOU. (Every time...) Please tell me you've got a drawing of that friendly guy you met in Scotland.

Well, I hope the food was good, at least...although I'm not sure that makes up for the arm-licking...
Your stuff is brilliant, btw, been a fan for quite a while. I'm so glad you started blogging!

As I'm sure you well know... grooming is very important, Dan.

Your Romanain experiences very much mirror my memories from a trip there years ago. I especially felt comforted that the police carried AK-47s.

Blog on, good sir.

I have had the exact same experience in Florida. IN fact, judging from your drawing, it looks like the same guy.
